Interiors — Julie Geyer Studio / Bethesda, Maryland

This Bethesda, Maryland home designed by Julie Geyer Studio was absolutely stunning. I had such a fantastic time shooting these spaces and I hope to work with more interior designers moving forward!

Branding — Emon Surakitkoson / Baltimore, Maryland Based Artist

My wife and I are big time lovers and collectors of art, which isn’t surprising given the fact that my wife is an abstract artist herself. We’ve followed Emon Surakitkoson on social media for quite some time, and we absolutely adore the monochromatic color palette and unique use of texture in her paintings. We even recently purchased one of her original paintings (this one), which we can’t wait to hang in our home.

A couple weeks back, Emon invited me to her new Baltimore, Maryland art studio to photograph her workspace and creative process, which was such a joy to witness. Beyond the myriad of black and white paint cans, bubble wrapped canvases ready to be sent to their new homes, and custom cut wood panels scattered throughout, Emon’s art studio is full of texture and patina. My goal with these photos was to capture the synchroneity and harmony between Emon’s workspace and her work, which I find to be so beautiful.

Working with artists and fellow creatives is so rewarding! Give Emon’s work a peruse and follow her on Instagram:

Travel — Arizona + Utah Road Trip / Summer 2019

I’m pinching myself as write this blog post because I can’t believe I actually stepped out of my comfort zone for a minute and did something completely spontaneous and unplanned! This past week, I flew to the beautiful city of Phoenix, Arizona and drove over 1,000 miles up and down the state, all by myself! I visited Mather Point and Yavapai Point at the Grand Canyon South Rim, watched the sun set over Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona, and off-roaded over 15 miles of dirt path in a Cadillac sedan so that I could experience the epicness that is Monument Valley!

There were a ton of other things on my list that I didn’t have time to do, but Arizona hasn’t seen the last of me! Here are just a few shots from my trip:
